General information
For everyone’s convenience, our campsitereception is open from 9am to 12:30pm and from 3pm to 7:30pm (7pm on Sundays). Holidaymakers can arrive from 3pm. On the day of departure, mobile homes must be vacated by 10 a.m. and camping pitches by noon.
Access to the campsite is secured by automatic gates. A €20 deposit is required to obtain the badge. This cheque will be returned to you on departure.
The campsite is closed to all indoor traffic between 11 p.m. and 8 a.m. The speed limit for cars and bicycles is 10 km/h.
Dogs must be kept on a leash and taken out of the campsite to relieve themselves. A path is provided for this purpose.
Visitors must leave their vehicles in the outside parking lot and check in at reception before entering the campsite.
Campground facilities are reserved exclusively for campground residents.

Where is camping Le Fief Melin?
Camping Le Fief Melin is located 1.8 km from the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean, at Château d’Oléron on the island of Oléron, Charente-Maritime.
What activities are available at Le Fief Melin campsite?
Le Fief Melin campsite has a heated, covered swimming pool for swimming and relaxing, and bikes for hire to discover the island from a different angle. In July and August, activities for young and old, entertainment, theme evenings and concerts are on offer. You can also enjoy a range of water sports close to the campsite, including fishing, kayaking, stand-up paddling, sand yachting and, of course, surfing!
What types of accommodation are available?
The campsite offers mobile homes with 1 to 3 bedrooms for up to 6 people, as well as pitches for caravans, tents and motorhomes. Most pitches have electric hook-ups. Hikers and cyclists can also rent cabins as a stopover on their travel itinerary.
What tourist attractions are close to the campsite?
Near the campsite, you can visit Le Château d’Oléron with its citadel and colorful huts, Le Grand Village and Port des Salines, the seaside resort of Saint-Trojan-les-Bains and its Gatseau beach. You can also visit the beaches of Vert-Bois, Boyardville and Les Saumonards. Because we’re located near the viaduct, it’s easy to get to the mainland to Rochefort (35 km), Saintes (55 km), Royan (44 km) and La Palmyre (40 min). And by sea, you can discover Fort Boyard, Ile d’Aix (30 min by boat) or La Rochelle (50 min by boat).
