The perfect destination if you want to discover the island of Oléron, also known as “La lumineuse“, Fief Melin is just a few minutes from the beach of Château d’Oléron: 4 minutes by bike and 15 minutes on foot are enough to reach the stretch of sand for swimming, family games or fishing.
As well as swimming and playing on a beach, you can organize a hike along the trails of Doux Point for superb ocean views. Take advantage of your stroll to sample oysters at a beachside bar, while enjoying the marine horizon. One of the island’s other attractions is the port of Château d’Oléron, where you can take a short cruise along the channel or rent a canoe.
As well as beach activities and walks, you can enjoy other entertainment for the whole family, such as :
