Our Made in Camp campsite offers a range of services to make your holiday on the beautiful island of Oleron as enjoyable as possible: reception where our team will welcome you and give you all the information you need, a bar-snack to enjoy a good time with family or friends, Wi-Fi access to share your memories over the net, a shuttle to make getting around easier…
Here at Le Fief Melin campsite in Charente-Maritime, we do everything we can to make your stay as easy as possible!
Reception
The reception is open every day:
- April to June and September to mid-October 9am to 12:30pm and 3pm to 7:30pm (7pm on Sundays)
- July and August, 9am to 12:30pm and 3pm to 8pm (7pm on Sundays).
To make your holiday as pleasant as possible, the Fief Melin team will give you advice, tips and good plans for visits and leisure activities during your camping stay on the Île d’Oléron in Charente-Maritime.
At the campsite reception, you’ll also find all the tourist information you need to organise and plan your stay: ideas for visits, timetables for cruises to Fort Boyard, map of cycle paths, tide tables…
Free shuttle bus
In partnership with the Communauté de Communes de l’île d’Oléron, the Made in Camp Le Fief Melin campsite is committed to limiting the flow of cars in high season, and offers you the chance to use the free summer shuttle service to get around. It passes right by your campsite, so there’s no excuse not to leave your car in the parking lot!
Travelling on the purple route, which stops at Le Fief Melin, you can reach Vert Bois beach, Port des Salines, Saint-Trojan-les-Bains and Gatseau beach.
So forget your car! The shuttle is 100% free and accessible 7 days a week, and what’s more, it runs on used cooking oil!
Wi-Fi access
Even in the marshes of the Île d’Oléron, you can stay connected from your pitch. Camping Le Fief Melin offers free Wi-Fi access throughout the campsite. You’ll be able to check your e-mails on your computer, watch a TV series on your tablet or even post your best holiday photos on social networks via your phone.
Bar/Snack
Just a few minutes from your pitch, come and enjoy a light and cheerful atmosphere in our snack bar.
You’ll discover fast, family-style cuisine featuring pizzas, burgers, salads and grills, as well as delicious waffles, crepes, ice creams and other delicacies. The snack bar is open every day in high season.
During our evening events, don’t hesitate to reserve your table to make the most of the atmosphere during your meal. Note that the snack bar also broadcasts many sporting events….
Books and games
If you fancy a good read on the terrace of your mobile home, in the solarium by the pool or on your shady pitch, the Made in Camp Le Fief Melin campsite has thrillers, novels and comics at your disposal. A wide range of books in French, English and German, for adults and children, are at your service. Come and have a good read!
Want to have fun with family and friends? Borrow a board game or an outdoor team game to make the most of those unforgettable moments during your holiday.
Laundry facilities for our guests
Two washing machines are available on our campsite, in each sanitary block. They operate with coins or tokens available at reception (6€).
You can use your own detergent or buy a detergent pod at reception (€1).
A tumble dryer is also available at our campsite. Like washing machines, it works with coins or €4 tokens.
Fridge rental
To enhance your comfort during a stay in a tent or caravan, we offer a fridge rental service:
- Full day – €7
- Week – €45.
