Come and discover the charm of the island of Oleron, nicknamed ‘La Lumineuse’, the sunny island of Charente-Maritime, where cycling will be your ideal means of transport, thanks to the many cycle paths accessible just 400 m from our pleasant campsite on the island of Oleron. You’ll also be able to reach the various tourist and leisure attractions.

Your Made in Camp Le Fief Melin campsite welcomes you just a stone’s throw from Le Château d’Oléron for your “Pool and Ocean” stay by the sea. You can enjoy a wide range of water sports, including fishing, kayaking, stand-up paddling and sand yachting.
Just a few minutes from our campsite near the beaches on the Île d’Oléron, you can visit the citadel of Le Château d’Oléron, with its magnificent ocean views!
Our swimming pool – Heated indoor pool on the Île d’Oléron
The 4-star campsite on the Ile d’Oléron offers you an aquatic area, open from April to mid-September*, with an indoor heated swimming pool for you to enjoy at all times, a paddling pool for the little ones to play in, and a solarium for parents to relax in!
The pool can be uncovered for swimming in the sunshine of our beautiful region. You can also enjoy a sunny relaxation area by the pool, with sun loungers and deckchairs.

If you prefer a more traditional campsite, we also offer pitches for caravans, tents and motorhomes, in a flat park with easy access for all, including people with reduced mobility.

FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE IN THE HEART OF ÎLE D’OLÉRON
As part of our ecological approach, and to prevent the island from becoming overcrowded, take advantage of the free summer shuttle service during the season. This direct link runs from the center of Château d’Oléron to the center of Saint-Trojan-les-Bains, via the beautiful beaches of Vert-Bois, Grand Village Plage and Gasteau.
If you wish, the shuttle can also take you to La Cotinière or the Chassiron lighthouse, or show you around the island. On the practical side, the shuttle bus runs every hour and stops at the foot of our campsite.
Snack bar, laundry, bike rental, free Wi-Fi, grocery store… We put all these services at your disposal to make your stay even more enjoyable!

Our Le Fief Melin campsite on the Ile d’Oléron is an ideal place for children: treasure hunts, orienteering races or creative workshops will enable them to have a great time and create beautiful vacation memories. For the older ones, sports activities and evening events will liven up your days and nights in Charente-Maritime.
The establishment offers access to various facilities such as a playground, a multi-sports field and a bowling green. There’s no reason to be bored on vacation!
For campers staying one or more nights, we also offer the possibility of renting bicycles. In the opinion of our guests, this is a very popular way to discover this little corner of France. Is the campsite open all year round?
The campsite is open from early April to mid-October. To book your stay, we are at your disposal all year round

I’m traveling with my pet. Can I take it with me to Le Fief Melin?
We love animals here at Le Fief Melin! So your 4-legged friend is very welcome! You will be asked to pay a small supplement when booking your stay, and we will ask you to respect certain conditions, such as :
- only dogs or cats are allowed
- 1 pet maximum per mobil homes and 3 pets maximum per pitch
- Category 1 and 2 dogs (pitbull, rottweiler, etc.) are strictly prohibited
- all animals must be kept on a leash within the campsite premises and must not be left alone on the pitch or in the accommodation
- pets must be accompanied outside the campsite to relieve themselves (accessible walkway at campsite exit)
- your pet must be tattooed and vaccinated, and its papers presented to the office on arrival.
We’ll be arriving outside reception opening hours. How do we get to the campsite?
From early April to late June and from early September to mid-October, arrivals are possible until 7:30pm. In July and August, guests may arrive up to 8:00 pm. For arrivals after these times, please contact reception by telephone or e-mail.
We’re renting, so what’s the most important thing to bring?
All our mobile homes have 1 to 3 bedrooms with comforters and pillows, a fully equipped kitchen (hob, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, crockery and cutlery), a living area, a shower room and separate toilet (except for mobile homes without sanitary facilities). On the terrace of your mobile home, you’ll find garden furniture. Remember to bring your own sheets, towels and cleaning products.
